Job Sub Sign Up Protocol

We highly encourage families to fulfill their job requirements themselves; this is a volunteer run pool and the community thrives from participation. We all understand the busy dynamics of life, dual working families, and additional commitments which is why we allow subs for many of our jobs.  That said, we cannot manage the subs and each family must arrange their own subs.

The Job Sub Sign Up Protocol is that families are able to hire substitute to complete their assigned task (AGE 16+, some jobs require 18+), for majority of the jobs. Jobs that don’t allow subs are noted.

Where do you find a sub? Families can post their requests on our FB page, reach out to other families, ask their nanny - whatever works for your family but families must manage their own subs to ensure a timely arrival and ability to perform the given task.

A few reminders:

  • We do not manage the payment of subs but we are highly encouraging that a family pay their sub no less than minimum wage, currently $16/ hour. (Please note this is a change from previous years) Springbrook has no control and/or say over what someone chooses to pay their sub. Please use your best judgment and arrange clearly with your sub PRIOR to the day of.

• Be sure that your sub knows the name of family working for and job they are working, they are to proactively check in and inquire about where to be the day of.

• No shows for jobs will in-cure a $175 fine, each time it occurs, and will be unable to register for a swim meet and/or swim team until paid. (Exceptions will be reviewed on case to case basis).

Thank you for your understanding and help in ensuring all our Hog swim meets run smoothly.  If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to Lauren Deal at [email protected]  and/or Nichole Silverstein at [email protected]
