The summer swim season is just around the corner! Please take note of the important details below. Thursday, May 4, 6-8 pm - Orientation Meeting Come learn about what to expect for this fun season. Attendance by at least one caregiver is mandatory at the orientation, including returning swim families. Following the orientation, the new leaders of the Parent Organization will hold their first meeting. All are welcome to stay and participate. We will host off-season conditioning practices at the TLY pool starting April 20. Tuesdays and Thursdays, April 18 - May 04 6-7PM Open to all Gators registered for the '22-'23 winter season. No additional charge - these conditioning practices are included in the winter season fee. These are un-coached practices. A printed workout will be provided for swimmers to follow at their own pace. All swimmers are welcome, though consistent practice is mandatory. This is not "play time" and members not swimming will be asked to leave. Please bear this...

Starting January 16th, the practice schedule is as follows: Claws 6:00 - 6:45pm Jaws 6:00 - 7:45pm Both squads will start at 6pm. Claws will wrap at 6:45, then there will be a 10-minute break, and Jaws will resume.

On January 7th, the Gators met up in Mon Valley with the Mon Valley Sharks, the Baierl Sharks, and, for the first time, the massive Sampson YMCA swim team out of Plum. Overall, the Gators cut 105 seconds of previous swim times. 23 swimmers established personal bests in 46 event entries, and our swimmers finished in the top 6 in 22 events. “This was one of our best showings we’ve had, in terms of improvement across the board, personal bests, and being a competitive swim team. Congratulations to Kei, Arabella, Makayla, Andrew, William and Eva who have all graduated up to the Claws Squad. Their persistence, consistency and hard work has paid off. Get out those claws!

The Gators, their supporters and opponents can look forward to exciting new changes at the Thelma Lovette pool this year. Bleachers, a scoreboard, and touchpads will all be put in place this fall. Anticipated timeline is by mid-October. We happen to think the Gators have the best pool in region already. These upgrades show we're serious about swimming and help us offer a great experience at home meets. Stay tuned for updates!
