Life Time Southern California

Our team is a year-round competitive USA Swimming team offering high quality, professional coaching and technique instruction for all ages and abilities. The goal of our team is to promote a lifetime of wellness through the sport of swimming.

Membership to the Life Time Southern California Swim Team is open to any Life Time member ages 5 years to Adult interested in taking part in competitive swimming.  Not a Life Time member?  Visit us at http://www.lifetimefitness.com/ to learn about membership benefits and how to become a member.

New swimmers are admitted to join the Life Time Southern California Swim Team at any time.  All swimmers must complete a Coach Assessment so that he or she may be placed in the proper program for success.  The schedule an assessment contact us at 949-238-2723 or email Head Coach Chase at [email protected] for the Laguna Niguel Life Time Swim Team or Head Coach Blake for the San Clemente Life Time Swim Team at [email protected].

Your swimmer needs to be ready to enter the water with swim suit and goggles. Upon completion of the evaluation swimmers will be assigned to a swim group.  Registration can begin at that time.  Registration is always on a first come, first served basis.  Fees and practice schedules depend on swim group placement.  For more details about fees, practice schedules, and swim group descriptions.

All swimmers are required to be members of USA Swimming, Inc our governing sport body.  There is an annual fee for this registration, currently $75.00.  Swimmers are not allowed to compete in sanctioned USA Swimming meets without being registered with USA Swimming.

How to Complete Team Registration:

1. Schedule your Coach Assessment and attend.

2. Complete a Life Time Swim Program Registration Form after your Coach Assessment.  

3. Complete a USA Swimming Registration Form and submit your payment made payable to Southern California Swimming within 30 days of joining the team.  Already a USA Swimming member? Submit an Athlete Transfer Form.  USA Swimming requires swimmers to be unattached for 120 days between representing the new club in competition.
