At LMU... 2005... was sidelined with a chronic back injury for much of the season after an impressive freshman year... still managed some fast relay swims and was a member of the winning 400 freestyle relay team in LMU's first-ever dual win over San Diego... swam the 100 backstroke event for the first time and placed 18th at the PCSC Championship... 2004... finished third in 100 freestyle with time of 55.04 against Pepperdine... took second in the 200 medley relay with time of 1:51.73 at Pepperdine Invitational... finished third in the 400 medley with time of 4:04.68 at the Pepperdine Invitational... posted a fourth place finish in the 100 freestyle with time of 56.39 against Pepperdine and Nevada... finished second in 50 yard freestylestyle against USD (25.68)... took second in 200 yard freestyle with time of 2:01.09 against San Jose... also finished second in the 200 medley and 400 freestyle relays with times of 1:53.42 and 3:48.70 against CSUN and Pepperdine... tied for first in the 200 medley relay with time of 1:51.79 against SDSU... had second place finishes in the 50 and 100 yard freestyle against SDSU with times of 25.24 and 54.77... took second in the 100 breaststroke with time of 1:09.16 against Fresno State... finished eighth in the 200 freestyle relay with time of 1:39.46 at the PCSC Championship... took 14th in the 50 freestyle at the PCSC Championship, finished in 24.88... 400 medley and 400 freestyle relay teams finished sixth and eighth at the PCSC Championship with times of 4:03.86 and 3:40.65...

Katharine Skora begins her junior year at Pepperdine University....One of four juniors on the rosters.

2005-06: Won the High Point for the Waves for middle distance at the Malibu Invitational...Had three Top 20 finishes and three Top 10 finishes at the Big West Shootout, including a second place finish in the 500 free (5:17.48) and a third place finish in the 1000 free (10:56.22)...Had a Top 25 finish in the Speedo Cup in the 1650 free...Had two top five finishes in the 200 and 500 free at the LMU Pentathlon...Placed in the 1000 free and 500 free against Cal Poly and San Diego State...Was successful at the PCSC Championships, placing 20th in the 500 free (5:16.33), 10th in the 1650 free (18:09.29) and was part of the 800 free relay that placed second.

2005: Skora scored 11 goals in 17 games for the water polo team, and will join the swimming team once polo season ends.

2004-05 : Skora provided depth for the Tigers in Freestyle events, as he recorded season best times in the 50 Free (22.74) and 200 Free (1:45.82) at the Speedo Invite.

2003-04 : Andy excelled in his first year at Pacific, 2003-04, as one of seven freshmen. He showed his versatility by scoring in seven different events throughout the year. He helped the Tigers to second place at the Big West Championships by swimming his fastest times in the 200 (1:42.37) and 500 (4:32.70, tops on the team) Free at the meet. Skora is also a member of the water polo team.

High School : Andrew attended San Clemente High School in San Clemente, Calif., where he won a combined six letters in swimming and water polo. In 2003, his team was runner-up in the CIF. Earned All-American status in swimming and holds school records in the 100 Free, 100 Breast and 200 Free Relay. Played the set position in water polo, earning all league honors and All-CIF. Was on the Presidents Honor Roll for a 3.8 or higher GPA.

Personal : Andrew Skora was born in San Clemente, Calif., and is the son of Bob and Rita Skora. Andy is majoring in sports sciences in his third year at Pacific with a future toward being a physical therapist.

Personal : Kenny Yamamoto was born in San Clemente, Calif., and is the son of Ryuichi and Noriyo Yamamoto. He is majoring in psychology in his third year at Pacific with a future toward being a high school counselor.

Dolphin Aquatics: Kenney was one of the best all around swimmers that the team has seen. With team records in the 100 Back(51.55), 200 Back(1:52.77), 200 Breast(2:18.30), 200 IM(1:52.71), and 400IM(4:11.72). He qualified for national reportable times in the same four events plus the 200 Med Relay and the 400 Med Relay. Kenny was a Junior National Qualifier in the 100 Back, 200 Back, and 200 IM.

High School
: Kenny went to San Clemente High School in San Clemente, Calif., where he was a four-year letterwinner in swimming and a three-year letterwinner in water polo. Kenny holds school records in the 100 Back (51.83), 200 Back (1:52.00), and 200 IM (1:52.00). Yamamoto was a Triton of the Year nominee and Athlete of the Year nominee.
