Fitness Training Group
This is the perfect group for the athlete that wants to stay in shape for other sports (such as water polo, track,etc) and does not want to participate in the competitive swim program*. Practices are 45 minutes and offered 4x a week, attention to stroke details are emphasized with endurance training. Athlete's must be at least 12 years old to register for this group. Athlete's must be registered with USA Swimming.
Athlete's must be able to swim 200+ yards freestyle and 50+ yards Backstroke. This is not a learn to swim group or lesson group.
*Should the athlete decide to participate in swim meets, the swimmer will need to transfer to either Silver, Gold or Senior groups and meet the minimum swim requirement for those groups.
Equipment: Standard Rectangular Kickboard, Training Fins, and Water Bottle
Practice Sessions/Week: 4x week
