BEACH DAY Tridents 5th Annual Beach Day will be July 16th at Bolsa Chica State Beach. Bolsa Chica State Beach is located along PCH in Huntington Beach. We will meet at Lifeguard Tower # 24. 5th Annual Beach a Smash Hit This year we selected the hottest Saturday of the Summer Season to visit the beach. With record tempertures and cool water it made for a great day. Poseidon's Games Poseidon's Games was a load of fun. There were games , food and lots of fun. So, our first Poseidon's Games was a success. We would like to thank Coach Stephanie' for organizing the teams, and games. Thank you to all the parents for the food. It was great way to cool off in the pool before the start a warm weekend. Chun and Lo Shine at SCS Swim Festival Mei Ling Chun and Theresa Lo both competed at the SCS Swim Festival in Long Beach this past Sunday. Theresa had 3 top 8 finishes in her individual events finsihing 4th in the 500 Free. Mei Ling Chun won two individual events(200 IM and 100 breaststroke) and set two SCS Swim Festival Meet Records. Mei Ling Chun and Theresa Lo to Compete in 2010 SCS Swim Festival Mei Ling Chun and Theresa Lo, will be joined by Coach Stephanie at the SCS Swim Festival in Long Beach on Sunday, February 28th. The top swimmers from Southern California were selected to compete and drafted on four teams at the All-Star Swim Festival. Trident Girls Break Top 10 at the 2010 Spring Junior Olympics The Trident Girls finish in 8th Place while the Team finished 12th overall in the Combined Team Standings. Meiling Chun, Theresa Lo, Jill McGill, and Lauren Robbins all swam super in the meet. The Southern California Junior Olympics is the highest level of competition for the age group swimmers in Southern California. Swimming for the boys were Alec Hsing and Michael Wang. Trident Swim Club at the JO Qualifier Alec Hsing and Lexi Hopps both qualified for the 2010 Junior Olympics. Alec qualified in the 500 Free and Lexi qualified in the 1650! There were some great swims over the weekend.
