I was born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee to my parents Scott and Sarah. After moving to South Carolina for a few years and being joined by my two sisters, we moved back to Knoxville. I grew up playing soccer, football, and running track. It wasn’t until I was nine years old when my family signed me up for summer league swimming at Bennington-Farrington. From the beginning, my favorite strokes were butterfly and freestyle. Swimming quickly became one of my favorite sports, along with track. After attending Rocky Hill Elementary, I started middle school at West Valley. During my seventh-grade year, a group of us started a swim team for the school, which has been going ever since. That same year, I joined a club swim team in Maryville called BLAST. I attended Bearden High School, swimming and running track all four years. During my freshman year, BLAST changed ownership and became the Prime Aquatics team we all know and love today. I was blessed to come into an already very strong high school program that allowed me to succeed. My high school swimming career was highlighted by multiple All-State awards and a state championship in the 200 Freestyle relay in 2018. My high school track career was also very successful with a team state championship in 2017 and being awarded all-state in the 4X800 and 800m races. Upon graduation, I committed to the University of Tennessee as a swimmer. While competing, I majored in geospatial science and technology. I graduated in 2022 and am continuing my education by pursuing a master’s in geospatial science. My swim career at The University of Tennessee has been the highlight of my life. Throughout my five-year career, I was blessed by amazing teammates, wonderful coaches, and a strong support base back home with my parents and my former Prime Aquatics family. I finished my college career as the 8th fastest 100 butterflyer in Tennessee history, as well as being an SEC A-finalist in the same event. My other specialties in college were the 50 freestyle, 100 freestyle, and 200 butterfly..
