VACA Swimmers recognized as Sierra Nevada Scholar Athletes

  The Sierra Nevada LSC recently honored a group of athletes from our LSC for outstanding achievements in both the classroom and the pool.  For the 2010 - 2012 school year the Vacaville Swim Team had ten (10) swimmers qualify a Sierra Nevada Scholar Athletes.  Congratulations to the following swimmers:  Matt Abernathy, Tiffany Buss, Andrew Castro, Kyle Castro, SuJenna Griner, William Mullis, Austin Parry, Keo Sarno, Sam Starks, Ryan Tunney!

  The minimum criteria for the Sierra Nevada Scholar Athletes is as follows:  Must be in grade 9-12 in high school for the 2010-2012 school year. (Last year and/or this)  Must have a grade point average of 3.25 or higher based on a 4.0 scale.  Must be a member in good standing of a U.S.A. swim club within Sierra-Nevada LSC.
