Vacaville Age Groupers race in Davis

The Vacaville Swim Team traveled May 5^th & 6^th to compete in Davis.  This was a short course yards meet giving a lot of our younger swimmers more race experience.

Coach Sarah noted that the Davis Meet was a great short course meet for her groups. Vacaville looked great with their new caps. Olivia Rush earned her Short Course Junior Olympic cut in 25 Free and Isabella Meraz earned her Short Course Junior Olympic cut in 50 Free and 50 Back. Coach Sarah only had a handful go but all of them got best times and some new times. Coach Sarah was very pleased with everyone coming and racing!!

Coach Grace stated that the meet last weekend in Davis was a very nice meet for all the swimmers that had attended. It was a good environment for her swimmers who had moved up because they did events that some have never done and there was no pressure on them. This meet was a learning meet for them. It was good to see all the swimmers trying new things and working on good technique during their race. Overall, everyone did great. Majority or all of her swimmers had dropped time in their events giving them best times in several events. Coach Grace was very pleased with the outcome.
