Vaca Waves Find Success at All-Star Meet!

The All Star tri-meet with San Diego and Central California found Sierra Nevada in second place behind San Diego.  The weather was outstanding and the All-Star team did a great job of handling the travel by bus and their stay in the hotel.  There was a pasta dinner with all three teams Saturday night in the cafeteria at Bakersfield Community College where the meet was held and the teams had a chance to meet and play a few games.

There were several outstanding swims turned in by our Tim Lee, as he won the 13-14 50, 100 200 freestyle races and the 200 butterfly. He was 3^rd in the 500 free and 4^th in the 100 butterfly and all but the 100 free were life time best times!  One of Tim’s most outstanding swims was as the anchor on the 400 Medley Relay where Tim made up a body length deficit and helped his relay win the last event of the meet.

Congrats to Tim Lee and all of Sierra Nevada swimming! Thanks to Coach Wedaman for traveling down as the 13-14 coach for the All-Star team!
