From Coach Megan:
Woodland was a great meet for the Red, White and Black Groups. Everyone came ready to race and had a lot of fun. All swimmers did really well with their long course swims and looked fantastic in the water. Great job to everyone on being prepared to swim and race! There were many best times and swimmers who achieved new time standards.
Congratulations to the new JO times:
Emma Gioia – 50 free, 200 free
Alyssa Carnahan – 100 fly
Emily Mueller – 100 fly
Julia Miles – 200 free
From Coach Grace:
The Woodland Meet was a very good meet for Marikja Nothaft, Rachel Lee and Olivia Earwood! All three of them had amazing swims and got new best times in their races. I would like to see a higher attendance at meets so everyone can get a chance to get best times and possibly Junior Olympic cuts. The girls have been working so hard at practice and saw that their training has paid off tremendously.
Go waves!
