Vaca Swimmers Roll in Lodi
From Coach Wedaman:
Lodi was a very enjoyable meet weekend with the Silver 1 and 2 groups having more 50 meter practices going into the meet. They showed very good race strategies and managed their races very well. There were quite a few stand-out performances. Highlights from the meet include:
Genna Lammon’s new A time in the 200 IM
Skyler Carmelich’s new A time in the 50 Back and 200 IM
Christopher Ton’s new A time in the 50 Fly and he was 7 out of 8 swims as best times.
Izzy Mitchell’s new JO time in the 200 Free
Mitch Guinan’s new B time in the 50 Free
Leah Harlan’s new B in the 200 Free and she was 3 out of 4 best times.
Jenna Breeden was 3 for 3 best times
Halle Kuhar-Pitters was 6 out of 8 swims as best times
From Coach Megan:
The Lodi Meet had a lot of fast swimming and good times from the Red, White and Black Groups! Everyone came to race and had a lot of fun! There were a lot of best times and everyone was looking strong. I am so proud of how everyone came to the meet prepared and ready to swim. There were even a few swimmers who had their first long course meet! Way to go everyone!
Congrats to the swimmers who achieved new JO times!
Jayla Boyd - 100 Free
Emily Mueller – 200 Free
Rachel Lin – 100 Free
Falin McCord – 100 Breast
From Coach Grace:
The Lodi Meet was a great meet for Alyssa Birst. She was my only swimmer who signed up for the meet, but she had amazing swims. She received two out of three best times that weekend. In her 100 free she dropped three seconds and deducted four seconds on her 100 breast. She has been attending practice daily and works hard every time she is there so these new times were well earned. Way to go Alyssa!
Go Waves!
