Day one
400 IM featured Austin Peterson (4:55.2) and Alan Flower (4:43.48). They both made it into the finals with amazing “prelim” times. TOP 10 MAKE FINALS
PRELIM SWIM
Austin 4:46 (dropped 9 seconds) and Alan 4:39 (dropped 4 seconds)
FINALS SWIM Austin 4:47 and Alan 4:40
*** having big drops in the prelims poses a tough task in the finals to drop more time. Unfortunately, our greatest swims were ONLY in the morning. Next time we will get that finals swim that is better than the morning swim. GREAT SWIMS BOYS!!!

Salome sat on her time 1:00.93 (no finals)
Genna dropped almost a second (best time :55.73) FINALS TIME :54.57, 4th place. SWEET!!!
***great example of improving a time posted in the morning and improving in the finals….A WAVE-MUST!!!
Eleni qualified for finals with a :55.73 (just off her best) and finaled with not her best 57.5
Alex posted a life-time best :57.03, not quite good enough to make finals, but over a second drop
Alan dropped almost a second with a :54.31
Skylar broke :54 seconds for the first time and posted best :53.78
Andy went NUTS and posted best time :49.76 good enough to qualify 3rd (finals time :50.1 for 4th place) AWESOME!!!
200 free
Emily Mueller added time to her morning swim, but made finals and got right back to her best time and placed 8th with a 2:26.1.
Isabelle (dropped a little bit) and Tiare (no drop) did not have the swims they hoped for, but tomorrow is a new day. ***Remember that an “off” swim in the beginning of the meet is a place that you climb out of and change the next day.
WILL BULRIS dropped 8 seconds (2:24) and finished 7th in finals. OH BABY!!!

Salome dropped a second 1:08.2
Alex Harris made finals by dropping from a 1:04 to a 1:01 and repeated the 1:01 in finals good enough for 8th place. Yoooooo goooood!!
Genna Lammon posted a best time 1:00.9m(2 second drop and finished 6th in finals with 1:01
Andy (went nuts again) dropping almost two seconds posting a :57.09. He qualified 3rd for finals and added a little bit
Austin dropped a second to a best time 1:02.2
Alan dropped 2 seconds to 1:01.4

Johanna Cheek (the best results today for BLUE group) best time :39.1 (2 second drop)
Will made finals by dropping over a ½ second and sat on his time in finals but placed 7th. (:37.1)

Amelia dropped 2 seconds and posted 1:40.4. Sweet Newbie!!!!
Johanna “wheels” Cheek dropped 2 seconds and went an amazing 1:31.5. Awesome!!
RELAYS

11-12 girls did the very best
Kenz, Rachel, Alex and Emma ALL went best ever times and placed top-8
13-14 girls dropped 10 seconds off their previous best @ our home meet. (Alex, Raven, Genna and Eleni) and placed top-8
13-14 boys had great splits for every participant and placed top-8. Way to go, Dominic!!
