DACA Meet Feb 3rd Great Swimming

SOLO attend the DACA meet on Feb 3rd.

This turned out to be fantastic!

As Sunday the storm blew in and washed the meet out, ha!

It is always a little tricky swimming outdoors in the winter.

For this meet we had the older swimmers use the meet as a practice race type meet.

Matthew, Adrian, Suren and Sabrina had nice swims.

Suren swam new best times in all three of his events, taking home the swimmer of the meet award!

While Matthew and Adrian practiced a little with wonderful 100 fly races!

However we did walk out with a newUSA Swimming National Spring Sectional Qualifier!

As it worked out Sabrina was able to split a 50 free out from the first race.

She made her sectional time of 24.89 with a 24.89, WOW!

When you split a time you then need to finish the race to get credit for the swim.

Since the race was a 200 fr, you wouldn't think she would have been able to also get a new best time in the event.

But she did! That's two for the price of one swimming! Congratulations!
