Call for Nominations for the Neptune Board of Directors
On behalf of the Neptune BOD Election Committee, I would like to invite you to submit nominations for the upcoming Board of Directors election. There are currently (4) openings which will serve 2 year terms.
Any voting member may be nominated, or may nominate herself or himself, for election as Director. Nominees who are members of Neptune swimming must be in good standing with the corporation (i.e. account balances are paid to date as of August 4, 2011). Interested community members who are not members of Neptune Swimming are also eligible to be nominated, but the Board is restricted to a maximum of two non member seats.
Nominations must be received by August 23, 2011. Nominations must be submitted in writing, via email to Melissa Fallon at [email protected]. Please include a brief one paragraph biography or statement to be published on the ballot. A confirmation email response to the sender will be sent once I receive the nomination. Ballots will be sent out to Neptune members and will be available at the pool beginning August 29th , 2011, and must be voted on and submitted by September 8th in order to be prepared by the Annual General Meeting on September 16th.
