Volunteers needed!

Hello Neptune families,
 
Our very 1st annual 14-under invitational Age group championship is less than 2 weeks away and it becoming clear that we need more volunteers to help share the burden of running a swim meet.  Neptune Swimming has a strong tradition of paretnal volunteerism and we hope to continue this wonderful trend - the more people carrying a little of the load keeps everyone fresh and happy.  Neptune Swimming was responsible for hosting 4 meets (all CBA+) in 2012 and we will be hosting at least 3 meets in 2013, however, this 14-under invitational meet is the last chance within the 2012-2013 (billing) season to volunteer and get a large portion of your volunteer hours completed .  The other two meets we are hosting this year(Oct. & Dec) fall under the 2013-2014 season and will not be counted towards this years totals.  Please help us run a great meet!
 
The following jobs are vital to our ability to run a successful meet and we are asking for volunteers to help us run a great meet:
1. Marshals - help keep the deck and warm up pools safe and secure
2. Awards - help acknowledge and reward the athletes with ribbons
3. Dolphin timing system - help maintain accurate timing system during the competition
4. Head Timer - help lane timers keep working timers to ensure athletes get accurate times
 
Competing teams are Arden Hills, Marin Pirates, North Bay, Orinda, Quicksilver, Pleasanton, Sierra Marlins & Neptune Swimming.
