Congratulations to our swimmer that has been invited to attend the Age Group Select Camo for South Carolina Swimming that is being held this year September 13-15 in Mt. Pleasant. For more information about the camps and selection process can be found HERE

IMX is a motivational program that allows swimmers across the nation to compare themselves to thousands of other athletes in their age group. The score is only established after a swimmer has swum all of the events (in the same course- SCY or LCM) required for their age group. The IMX ranking includes a series of five or six events at longer distances.

The Annual South Carolina Select Camp that runs one weekend in the month of September every year is based on IMX event scores and events. The selection process for camp is based on the LC results of the year that it is held. The top ten males and females from 11-12 and 13-14 are invited.

We are so proud of her, she is the first athlete invited from our team. We cannot wait to see what she will learn and to have her represent Summerville YMCA Tidalwaves!
