2025-2026 Tidalwaves Swim Team
Our Tidalwaves team is a year-round swim team. The year-round swim team schedule runs from August to April. We look forward to you and your swimmer’s participation. Year-round swimmers have the option to make a monthly payment.
USA membership is an option.

Membership:
All swimmers are required to maintain a full YMCA membership to participate in the Fall/Winter team as per
YMCA National Competitive Swimming & Diving rules.
Regular Season dates are: August 18, 2025-March 2026
Championship Season dates are: March 2026-April 5, 2026
Our team participation fees are as follows:
Admin & Spirit Fee is due August 18 or at registration
Monthly payments begin Sept 1
Current and returning Tidalwaves registration opens July 1
Current Summer Team members registration opens July 14
New Tidalwaves members registration opens July 28

Added Expenses:
- All swimmers will need the following equipment: Kickboards, pull buoys, long fins.
- Minnows, Dolphins, Sharks & Seniors require hand paddles. Sharks & Seniors require snorkels.
- Team suits
- Swim meet fees. Meet fees can vary and range from $50 - $80 per meet, per swimmer.
USA Swimming: All members of the Tidalwaves swim team have the option to participate in USA Swimming. This is not required. The registration fees are as follows:
- Annual Fee $101.00
- Outreach Fee (Please contact Coach Susan at susanN@summervilleymca.org)
Admin Fee:
Admin fee covers the cost of the Tidalwaves Y-USA and USA yearly registration for all aspects in administration associated with the swim team. (This is Non-Refundable and required)
Spirit Fee:
This money is used to purchase items and equipment for the team which are not covered by the Y; such as award ribbons, timing & training equipment, banquet items, etc. (This is Non-Refundable and required)
No refunds after the first day of practice.
Swimmers will be responsible to conitnue monthly payments or pay off the reminder of the balance in one lump sum.
