Age Group Swimmer of the Month April 2007 Despite joining MCAT/SVA only a month ago, Celeste Valdez, through her work ethic and positive attitude, is already establishing herself as a leader in the group. Celeste has tremendous listening skills and constantly works to improve her strokes. She is a good teammate and a pleasure to coach. Dear MCAT Swimmers and Families: MCAT/SVA and MBSC will no longer be competing as a single team in swim meets. In a unanimous vote, the Board voted that the best interest of our swimmers was to concentrate on our swim operations here in the Salinas Valley . The only change that will be readily apparent is that our relays will be staffed completely by MCAT/SVA swimmers from now on.
