Palma High School coach, and his high school/club coach Dia C Rianda was recognized for Alex's success in swimming and school. Monterey County Aquatic Team Members attended the Pacific Swimming Long Course Junior Olympics July 19-22,2007 at Independence High School in San Jose, California. Grant Hashimoto 16 of Salinas earned a Silver medal in the 50 free with a time of (25.95). He also placed in the 100 free (56.81) and the 200 free (2:05.40). 22 MCAT members from the Junior and Senior groups attended the Firecracker Meet in San Luis Obispo on July 7th and 8th. The team had a great time and traveled together by van to the meet.
