Swim Team Break Event Date August 15 - 28, 2011 While there are different philosophies of the importance and relevance of a break in swimming, it is the opinion of this coaching staff, that a break is important to an age group swimmer and senior swimmer. Zone 1 South Championships Over 40 MCATeers participated in the Pacific Swimming Zone 1 South Championship swim meet on January 15-16,2011 in Santa Clara, California. The weekend netted fantastic swims and time drops for MCAT participants. The standards for scoring and recognition for this meet are based on the National Time Standards, not Pacific Swimming Time Standards.
