As a parent-run non-profit organization, 757swim relies upon member families to fulfill Fundraising and Volunteer obligations.

Be sure to read full details of these Policies at About Us > Policies.

Fundraising:

Most families that join the team commits to a minimum fundraising amount. (Some groups have a reduced amount or are exempt; see the current year's policy.) This minimum amount is budgeted income required for the team's operations. Each season, we will identify "vehicles" to help families meet their fundraising requirement. Vehicles may include shopping with Scrip, selling raffle tickets, selling a team sponsorship, etc. Please see this year's policy for specifics. Families may opt to pay out of pocket rather than participating in fundraising vehicles. Any balance will be charged on the June invoice or upon leaving the team.

Volunteering:

Most 757swim families are required to assume a "Team Service" volunteer role. (Certain groups are exempt.) Roles range from board membership or officiating meets to serving on an event committee.

All families in competitive groups are also obliged to assist at 757swim-hosted "home" meets. The number of required volunteer sessions will vary according to the number of team members and the number of meets.

Finally, families serve as timers at "away" meets that their swimmers attend. Timing responsibilities are divided among participating families so that slots are typically no more than an hour per family per meet.
