Safe Sport

The safety and well being of our swimmers is the most important factor in all decisions that we make as a club. 757swim goes above and beyond all requirements and expectations from both USA Swimming and VA Swimming to provide its swimmers the safest learning environment possible. This page serves as a one-stop resource for everything we do to keep our athletes safe.

Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policy (MAAPP)

757swim is in full compliance with MAAPP. Though we have team policies outside of MAAPP, many of our policies are pulled from our MAAPP, we encourage you to look at our plan in its entirety here: /va757/UserFiles/File/757swim-maapp-policy_019963.pdf

Athlete Protection Education

Parents and athletes are encouraged to take a free Athlete Protection Training Course. The adult course is designed for swim parents to understand the Safe Sport program and their role in working with 757swim to provide a safe, healthy, and positive environment for our swimmers. The course for athletes teaches swimmers how to be a part of Safe Sport, as well as gives education about healthy boundaries and where to take concerns. Please click here for a detailed explanation on how to sign up. For parents registering with USA Swimming for the first time, our LSC is Virginia Swimming, and our club code is 757.
