Swim Stroke Clinics and Programs
High School Holiday Swim Clinic
East Coast Aquatic Team is proud to offer a yearly holiday swim camp for highschoolers to train and prepare for their upcoming high school swim season. This camp lasts 5 days, 2 hours each day. This program is a great opportunity to have your swimmers work with experienced coaches developing technique, timing, and philosophy of all 4 strokes, starts, turns and finishes. The training, drills, and kick sets will be geared to gaining speed while maintaining proper stroke technique. Video analysis of the swimmers strokes will be used in the learning process, as well as classroom sessions to understand the timing and philosophy of each stroke. This clinic is for High School aged swimmers. See flyer for more information.
Sunday Stroke Clinics
East Coast Aquatic Team offers Sunday Stroke Clinics to help your child grow in each swim stroke. Our clinic is run over the course of 8 weeks with each session lasting an hour. This program is a great opportunity to have your swimmers work with some experienced coaches learning technique and timing of all 4 strokes, starts, turns and finishes. The training, drills and kick sets will be geared to gaining strength and speed while maintaining proper stroke technique and are the same drills used by East Coast Aquatic Team. This clinic is for 6 and older swimmers that can swim multiple lengths of the pool unassisted. All coaching is done in water in a fun filled environment. Swimmers will be broken up by ages and abilities within the time slot.
Our clinics our broken up into three focuses. For our fall clinic, the emphasis will be on technique and timing. Our winter clinic emphasis will be technique and core development. The spring clinic emphasis will be technique and reaction time training. This sequence of preparation is a great way to help your child prepare for summer swim league or year round competitive. See flyer for more information.
High School Training Group
The high school training group was formed to give high school aged swimmers (13 and Up) an opportunity to develop strong technical foundations, great training habits, and race strategies without the senior level swimmer requirements. Practices are held four times a week for an hour. Come as much or as little as you like but the coach will give recommendations based on the swimmers goals. See flyer for more information.
