H2okie Aquatics is committed to providing a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for all athletes. We prioritize the physical, emotional, and mental well-being of every swimmer and strictly adhere to all USA Swimming and Virginia Swimming Safe Sport and Athlete Protection policies.
USA Swimming & Virginia Swimming Compliance
H2okie Aquatics is a member in good standing with USA Swimming & Virginia Swimming and fully implements the following required protections:

Coach, Staff, & Volunteer Requirements
All adults affiliated with H2okie Aquatics who have regular contact with athletes are required to:

Maintain USA Swimming membership in good standing

Complete annual Athlete Protection Training (APT) - Link Here

Successfully pass a USA Swimming background check

Maintain current CPR, First Aid, and AED certification (as applicable)
Adult athletes (18+) are also required by USA Swimming to complete Athlete Protection Training to remain in good standing.
Reporting Concerns
We encourage athletes, parents, and staff to report any concerns related to safety, misconduct, or abuse. Reports may be made confidentially and in good faith, and retaliation is strictly prohibited.
