Interested in Becoming a Certified USA Swimming Official
 

Do you … get bored at Swim Meets; get confused about the rules; want to meet other swim parents; want to get to know the coaches; or need to be closer to the action?  Then the place for you is on deck as a USA Swimming Certified Official.  No experience is needed.  We will train, mentor and even feed you (at meets that is).  You will become proficient in the technical rules and procedures for running meets.  Trade in your paperback and a seat on a hard bleacher for the ‘White and Blue’ and a chance to get your sneakers wet! 

If that doesn’t motivate you, then consider that it takes between eight and 24 officials to run a meet depending on size.  The RAYS have had a longstanding reputation for having a strong crew of officials.  However as our older swimmers have graduated and moved on to college, our more senior officials have hung up their sneakers.  We need to replenish our ranks.  Please consider attending an Introduction to Officiating/Stroke and Turn Judge Clinic in the next few weeks.  Times and locations will be announced in the next few weeks.
