Welcome to this week’s Monday Mailer! Our goal is to provide the team with any pertinent info for the upcoming week, as well as long-term dates to add to your family calendar.
 

Happy 707 Day! We'd like to thank everyone who participated in the 4th of July Parade--marchers, cooks, costume wearers....it was a great time!

 

CODE OF CONDUCT: Our Code of Conduct is a list of rules and expections for our athletes. We are proud to uphold these values. A signed copy, including both swimmer and parent/guardian, is required for membership [Code of Conduct PDF]. Completed Codes of Conduct are due by Friday 11 July. Please contact Coach Sophie or the Board with any questions.

 

REAL CHAMPIONSHIPS OPEN FOR ENTRY: The 2025 REAL Championship meet is now open for entries! This is a team meet--all of our swimmers are encouraged and expected to attend! Please reach out to your swimmer's coach if you have any questions. [online entries / meet sheet]

 

WANV "ENDLESS SUMMER" MEET: The Waves Aquatics Napa Valley Meet (September 20-21) is now open for online entries. This is a "team" meet and swimmers are encouraged to sign-up quickly. [online entries / meet sheet] 

 

VJO TEAM SHIRTS: We have a fresh batch of VJO team shirts. We currently can take payment in cash, check, or contactless card/ApplePay/etc. Please contact Coach Sophie with any questions. 

 

CHIPOTLE DINE & DONATE: On Monday 14 July, we'll be having a Dine & Donate at Chipotle in Vallejo (5:00--9:00 pm). We'll receive 25% of all sales that use our code! Please share with your friends and family. [fundraising page / PDF (eng) / PDF (esp)]  
 

TEAM PHOTO DAY: Our anual team photo will be on Thursday 17 July at Cunningham. There will also be individual and "buddy/group" pictures available. 

TEAM SUIT FITTING: Elsmore Swim Shop will be at Cunningham on Wednesday 27 August, from 5:00--7:00 p.m., for a team suit fitting. 

 

AWARDS BANQUET: Our Awards Banquet has been scheduled for Wednesday 30 July at Cunningham. More information to follow as it becomes available, but you can already sign-up for the potluck.

 

BLOCK PARTY MEETS!: We're excited to announce we have two "Block Party" meets on our schedule for next month--Friday 11 July and Friday 18 July. Block Party meets are designed to be short (under two hours), fun, low stress meets to introduce "competion" to new swimmers and parents. They'll both be hosted at home at Cunningham, within our 4:00--7:30 p.m. contracted window. More information to follow.
