USA SWIMMING SAFE SPORT & MAAPP POLICIES
USA Swimming Safe Sport
USA Swimming has adopted policies regarding Athlete Protection under the SAFE SPORT and MAAPP regulations. It is EVERY member's responsibility to read these thoroughly and abide by them without exception. Swimmers must pay particular attention to the 18 & older athlete requirements as well as requirements related to:
- Locker room use
- Travel
- "One on one" interactions
- Massage and rubdown requirements
- Communications between coach/swimmer and 18 & older/minor swimmer
- Applicable Adults
The regulations are posted in their entirety and also as highlighted sections. We are obligated to follow ALL guidelines contained in both SAFE SPORT and MAAPP.
Here at Vallejo Aquatic Club, we strive to make your swimmer's protection and safety our highest priority. By working together as coaches, swimmers, parents, and volunteers we can ensure all USA swimming members are supported in a safe and dependable environment both in and out of the pool.
