3. USA Swimming Fee

Premium Athlete cost is $90.
Outreach Athlete cost is $5.
4. Volunteer Hours
VJO is a parent-run organization. We require families to volunteer 10 hours at each home meet. We host 3 home meets a year. Unmet volunteer hours are billed at a rate of $20 per missed hour.
5. Fundraising Commitment
Each family has a fundraising commitment which is fulfilled through participation in our annual Swim-a-Thon. Individual swimmers must raise $200; families with 2+ swimmers must raise $300.
Optional & Variable Costs
Meet Fees
Families are responsible for signing up their swimmers for meets. The team will be attending at least one meet every month; some swimmers attend every meet, some swimmers attend very few meets. This is a personal choice.
Meet fees are typically around $30 - $50 per swimmer per meet. Qualifying meets often have higher fees associated with them.
Outreach athletes qualify for reduced meet fees as part of Pacific Swimming's Meet Entry Fee Assistance Program.
