Thank you to those of you who have signed up to volunteer at the Wave Winter Splashfest swim meet on January 4th and 5th. We are still in need of some key volunteers. If you are the parent of an 8 & under swimmer or please consider volunteering for the 8 & under staging. Click on the Job Sign Up from the meet page to see additional volunteer slots that need to be filled, including some openings for timers. Thanks in advance for helping to make this meet successful.
For those of you that want to take advantage of the early snowfall this year Coach Curt and some swimmers (families) will be skiing/snowboarding at Granite Peak this Saturday after the Wausau meet. This is not a team function but very informal, just thought we would let people know who might also be interested in getting out on the slopes :-)
Wave Parents As you know our home meet is coming up in January. We have two kinds of sponsorships – individual event sponsors (Snowflake Sponsors) which allows a single swimmer to sponsor an event. We also have opportunities for corporate sponsorships that are available and allow for local businesses to sponsor. This is a reminder that there is a parent meeting tonight (Dec the 4th) from 6-7 pm. Wave Families, We are excited to be hosting the Winter SplashFest meet again on January 4 & 5, 2014 at Appleton North High School. As you know, it takes many volunteers to run an efficient and successful meet, "Many hands make light work." We need 675 volunteer hours of your time to help run this meet smoothly.
