Parent/Athlete Education
USA Swimming offers online Safe Sport training courses. These are free courses that can be found at www.usaswimming.org/learn. Parents register under non-member access by clicking on register HERE and take the "Parents Guide to Misconduct in Sport". Athletes age 12-18 login HERE using their name and date of birth to search for their account and take the "Safe Sport for Athletes" course.
Athletes age 18 and over and non-athlete members of USA Swimming must complete Athlete Protection Training each year. This course is found at www.usaswimming.org/apt. Please login using full name and date of birth.

MAAPP
In June 2019, the Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policies (MAAPP) were required of all USA Swimming Clubs. This policy was updated in 2021. MAAPP 2.0 is effective September 1, 2021.
