Monday-Friday 4 - 5 PM

Saturday: 10 - 11 AM

Hammerheads (Coach Aaron):

In these group swimmers start to move from primary stroke and technique instruction to more emphasis on training. Drill work and kicking will continue to make up a large portion of this group; however, swimming sets will be added. At this level, goal setting will be introduced, and swimmers will be expected to be more accountable for their progress in swimming. Consistent practice attendance is necessary for continued improvement.

Monday-Friday 4pm - 5:30 PM

Saturday:  8 - 10 AM

Senior Group (Coach Felix and Coach Aaron):

Seniors take on a much more rigorous training load than previous groups while continuing to build upon the skills and technique acquired at the Hammerhead level. Practice times are longer in conjunction with higher yardage. Seniors will be expected to understand interval training and will learn how to train at different levels and speeds. There will also be a greater emphasis on race strategies.

The expectations for attendance and competition participation are based on the goals of each athlete.  Athletes with goals to compete in college or at a senior championship level and beyond should expect to attend all practices.  A great attitude, work ethic, attention to detail, and competitive drive should build on a foundation of consistent attendance.  Competing at a National level will require full engagement in and beyond the team’s schedule.
