Black Groups
At EAC, we appreciate that some athletes enjoy multiple sports while others decide to dedicate themselves to just one. We have a program for both types of athletes as they age and improve their swimming skills.
BLACK DELTA
Focus: Delta group is for swimmers who have decided to focus on the sport of swimming as their sport of choice. This group is designed for athletes who are highly committed to using swimming as a strong compliment to their academic and athletic development. Conditioning and aerobic training will be emphasized. Enfinity looks to Delta swimmers to exhibit leadership and team building skills in and out of the pool.
Suggested Age: 11-14 years old
Black Delta Swimmers are:
- Focused on the sport of swimming
- Proficient in all four strokes
- Dedicated to developing their skills
BLACK BETA
Focus: Beta group is intended for swimmers who love the sport of swimming as a component to their academic and extra-curricular pursuits. Coaches work on building healthy young athletes through teaching proper technique while incorporating conditioning and aerobic training. Many Beta swimmers use the program as a way to prepare for High School and Summer League Season. Enfinity looks for Beta swimmers to exhibit leadership and team building skills in and out of the pool.
Suggested Age: 13-18 years old
BLACK SIGMA
Focus: Black Sigma is designed to build on the physical and technical skills acquired through age group swimming to reach the highest potential possible for each swimmer in the group. Athletes in this group use their swimming skills to train at a high level. Coaches spend time developing a training plan for each individual athlete.
Suggested Age: 13+ years old
Black Sigma Swimmers are:
- Focused on the sport of swimming
- High achieving student athletes
- Working towards time cuts in each stroke
Practice: 6-8 practices per week for 60-120 minutes in-water and dry land workouts 2-3 days per week. A minimum of 5 practices per week. Meets required.
