EQUIPMENT OUTLINE

Kick Boards-  Kids boards have changed very little since the sport of swimming began!  Simple and effective.  As our EAC motto is, "The Legs Feed the Wolf"...  Enfinity kicks A LOT!  EAC sells both Adult and Junior (smaller size) boards, but you're welcome to get any kind you like.

Snorkels- Snorkels are excellent tools to develop body line and head position in freestyle.  We will use snorkels all throughout blue group practices, and for warm up + technique work in black groups.  Enfinity HIGHLY recommends the ylon-a snorkel (blue groupers - they sell junior versions), but you are welcome to get a brand you like.

Paddles- Paddles help with developing power in the pull phase of your stroke.  Strokemaker Paddles are simple/flat paddles that work very well.  Use the link here and be sure to click on the size chart to help you pick the paddles for your swimmer.  We do not use paddles before the Royal group.

Fins- Winston-Salem subscribes to using the Arena Powerfin Pro for our Black Group/Senior swimmers-> Enfinity sells the Powerfin Pro.  We prefer that our youth swimmers (12 and under) use the Speedo Trialon Rubber Fin as the are lighter and easier to use.

Aqua Sox- Aqua Sox are placed on your feet to produce drag and create resistance when swimming.  Coach Tim likes to use these (Sigma, Delta, Beta) when sprinting.  Power Bags/Sox - link, Size PB25 - for 14 and Under / Size PB 40 - 15+ age.

Swim StretchCordz- Coach Neisser (Sigma Select) likes using resistance cords in water.  Check out the link here.

Dry Land Bands- We will be using these on deck at Sherwood for our Royal deck strength.  These will be provided for you.

StretchCordz- All Sigma and Delta will use StretchCordz often.  Please check out the size chart, and ask your coach if you have any questions on the color you will need.
