Yes parents, in swimming you become the Officials! It takes a minimum of 35 officials/volunteers on-deck to run a swim meet. If you are new to the sport of swimming, please plan to complete the Introduction to Swimming Officiating clinic. If you are a returning Official, we strongly encourage you to take a step-up in your training.
 
 
SWIMMING CANADA OFFICIALS EDUCATION
 
Officials need to be registered as an Official in the Swimming Canada online registration system to access the Swimming Canada e-learning system.
 
New Official: If you are a new Official, please contact our Club Officials Administrator, Kirsten Bergstrom, so they can create an Officials account in the Swimming Canada online registration system. Once you have been added to the Swimming Canada online registration system, you will receive an email with your username and password. This username and password allows you to access both the Swimming Canada online registration system and the Learning Management System.
 
Returning Officials:

To Self-Register:

1. Go to the Member login page in REMS at the following link: https://swimming.canada.sportsmanager.ie/sportlomo/users/login/home  and click the 'forget password/ link

2. Enter the email address associated with your previous Swimming Canada account in the RTR

3. If the email address you entered matches the one in REMS, a password reset link will be sent to that email address

4. If the email address you entered does not match any REMS, please double check the email address you provided or contact your club for assistance

5. Go to your email account and click the link to reset your password

6. Enter the new password and click 'submit'

7. Once you are in the REMS homepage, scroll down and under Membership in the green box, you will click on the red "Register/Renew" button

8. Scroll down to the 'Official', Pick '1' and click the big red 'Continue' button

9. Select the member you wish to register as an official and click the red 'Continue' button

10. Confirm all your Information, scroll down and click the red 'Register' button

11. Once you have completed this, send a quick email to our club COA, Kirsten, at [email protected]) and she'll approve the registration
