Required USA Swimming Membership
In addition to KSC Novice Program registration, all participants are required to have a current USA Swimming membership.
- Annual USA Swimming Membership: Flex Athlete – $30
Please click HERE to register with USA Swimming.
All swimmers must be registered with USA Swimming and Kachemak Swim Club to participate in lessons, practices, meets, and team events. USA Swimming membership provides essential insurance coverage, athlete protection policies, and official eligibility for sanctioned swim meets. KSC registration ensures swimmers are placed in the correct training group, included on team rosters, and covered under our club’s operational requirements. Together, these registrations keep our athletes safe, insured, and fully eligible to learn, train and compete.
Registration & Payment
To reserve a spot in one of our Novice Program swim groups, full payment is required at the time of registration.
- Registration is completed through our online system.
- A spot in class is only confirmed once payment has been processed.
- We accept credit card payments only.
- If payment is not completed during registration, your child is not officially registered and their spot is not guaranteed.
Session Enrollment
Please note that re-enrollment is not automatic.
- You must register your child separately for each session.
- Returning swimmers must complete new registration and payment for every session they wish to join.
Swimmers do not automatically move up a level after each session.
Coaches will:
- Evaluate your swimmer’s skills and readiness.
- Recommend the most appropriate group for each new session.
It is very common for swimmers to remain in the same level for multiple sessions. Every child progresses at their own pace, and placing a swimmer in a level above their ability is neither safe nor beneficial.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
- A $10 cancellation fee applies to all cancellations.
- No refunds or credits will be given if you cancel within 5 days of the class start date.
- No refunds or credits are offered after the session begins, as instructors are scheduled based on enrollment.
- Refunds, credits, or make-up classes are not available for schedule conflicts (sports, activities, vacations, etc.).
Credits may be issued only in the case of extended illness (3 or more consecutive classes missed) with a doctor’s note and for no other reason.
