About KSC


Kachemak Swim Club (KSC) is a year-round developmental and competitive swim team for athletes ages 4 to 18, from beginners to state champions. All swimmers are registered members of USA Swimming (USAS).  Our program serves youth in the Homer area, providing supervised aquatics training that focuses on ongoing technique development. KSC is committed to helping athletes build confidence in the water, maintain vigorous health, develop lifelong skills, and achieve competitive success.

KSC is a non-profit organization recognized by the IRS. Governed by bylaws adopted by the membership, the daily affairs are directed by the head coach as overseen by a seven-member board of directors elected at the annual spring general membership meeting. Typically meeting monthly, the BOD welcomes members to attend board meetings with questions, concerns, or simply out of general interest. Meeting dates and location are on our website.

 

 

We are located at Kate Kuhn's Aquatic Center at Homer High School, 600 E. Fairview Avenue, Homer, Alaska.
