2023 KSC Board of Directors Call for Nominations
Are you looking for an opportunity to be a part of the decision-making process in the sport your child loves? Would you like to help with and support your child’s sport? Kachemak Swim Club (KSC) is looking for enthusiastic, hardworking, diligent individuals who want to help KSC continue to support the coaches and swim programs as they continue to grow.
In May 2023, KSC members in good standing will elect 6 new members of the KSC Board of Directors (the BOD) to fill vacant seats and refill seats of Directors’ whose terms are ending. Any member in good standing, as specified in Article VI. Section B, Paragraph 2 in our KSC Constitution and Bylaws, is qualified to serve on the Board of Directors. This is a two-year commitment, and they shall serve as an officer or committee chair as needed. Directors are expected to attend all meetings and to keep informed on business conducted.
Applicants may self-nominate or be nominated by a third party with written consent of the applicant. Those interested in serving on the Board must submit their written consent no later than Friday, April 22, 2023. Please send your nomination to KSC Board of Directors at [email protected].
KSC Club Members will be notified 10 days in advance of the nominations. Voting will take place at our Spring General Membership Meeting the evening of April 25th. All newly elected directors shall assume the duties of their office on June 1, 2023. Please note: Serving as a board member fulfills your volunteer commitment.
