KSC Final Season Planning, Reminders, Updates & News
We have some final planning along with reminders, updates, and news, as our swim season comes to a close. Our last day of swim practice, for this session, will be May 26th. Coach Caleb will send out any updates if needed, and will have information about our summer swim session soon. It has been an awesome swim season as we adjusted to many changes, challenges, and growth. Thank you all for your participation and help throughout our season!

APRIL REMINDERS
April 20, 2023 - Swim-a-Thon 2023
Our biggest and only fundraiser of the year! To make it both fun and successful, we need the whole team actively involved: swimmers, coaches, and parents. Reach out to businesses, family, friends, and neighbors prior to our Swim-a-Thon event day. Collect flat pledges prior to swimming, or receive pledges-per-length to be collected following the Swim-a-Thon. Each swimmer’s earnings helps the club. Let’s make this our best fundraiser ever!! April 25, 2023 - KSC Spring Annual Meeting
6:15 p.m. at Kate Kuhn’s Aquatic Center. KSC Swim Team Members (King, Dream, Believe, Achieve, Perform) will vote on our budget for the 2023-2024 swim season, and elect new board members. If you are interested in being on the board of directors, please send an email to [email protected].
April 27-30, 2023 – Alaska State Championships (formerly JO’s)
In Anchorage at Bartlett High School Pool. Good luck to all the swimmers who are attending. Swim hard, swim fast! GO KINGS!!
MAY REMINDERS
May 12 & 13, 2023 - Shorebird Invitational
Our last home swim meet of the year. We need LOTS of volunteers to make this meet successful! Check out our event page to see how you can help along with fulfilling your service hours.
Friday 4-7 p.m.
Saturday 8 a.m.- 1 p.m.
May 16, 2023 KSC EOY Swim Celebration
Location: Kate Kuhn’s Aquatic Center
Time: 6:00 p.m. (directly after swim practice)
For our EOY celebration we are having an ice cream sundae/dessert bar! Please plan to come to our end of year celebration. We will hand out Swim-a-Thon prizes and swim team awards at this event. Swimmers, coaches, and parents have all been working hard this season. Let’s celebrate a fantastic year with food and fun! Yes, we do need help. JUNE/SUMMER REMINDERS
ALL swim team families (this is not for Novice Swim groups), please fill out the questionnaire below. This will let us know who is interested in our summer swim practice, and help with summer planning. Thanks!
