Volunteer Opportunity: Join Us for the Turkey Time Invitational!

Hello Swim Families,

We’re excited to host our first home meet of the season!  Turkey Time Invitational is on November 21st and 22nd, and we need your help to make it a success! This fun annual event brings together athletes, families, and our community for a great day of racing, teamwork, and holiday spirit.  Whether you’re looking to fulfill your required service hours, or just want to be a part of the action, we’ve got plenty of fun volunteer opportunities available.

We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to assist with:

  • Announcer – Keep the energy up and the crowd informed!
  • Concessions – Snacks & Drinks – Bring snacks, drinks and coffee to sell during the meet.
  • Concessions Sales (12:00–2:30 PM Shift) – Run the stand, sell heat sheets and serve up smiles.
  • Hospitality Food & Drinks – Help keep our coaches, officials and volunteers fueled (this one counts for double volunteer hours!)
  • Hospitality Manager – Take charge of the hospitality area and help things run smoothly.
  • Lane Timers (Friday & Saturday) – Be right in the middle of the action and help keep races on track!
  • On-Deck Parent Helper – Help get swimmers ready for the meet, write on arms and ensure swimmers have their team suit, cap and goggles ready. (Must be off deck before the meet starts)
  • Photographer – Capture the best moments of the meet!

PLUS, we need someone (or someones) to sing the National Anthem to kick things off! If you or anyone you know (swimmers, parents, family members, etc.) would like to sing, please let us know! It’s a special way to start the event, and we’d love to have your voice.
