Brian Sunderland - President
Brian Sunderland is the father of 3 Stingrays with a 4th chomping at the bit to join the team. Brian is an electrical engineer and worked in Prudhoe Bay for 18 years. He has been a stay at home Dad for the last 3 years, and enjoys being active with his children’s school and church. Brian has called Fairbanks home since 2006 and enjoys all of the activities that Alaska has to offer.
Lisa Cassino - Vice President
Lisa Cassino is the proud mother of two Stingray swimmers, Madison and Hadley, and is excited to bring her experience and enthusiasm to the SST board. Professionally, Lisa serves as the Vice President of Public Relations at Usibelli Coal Mine, overseeing communication strategies and community engagement efforts. Outside of her professional life, Lisa is deeply involved in the community. She serves on various boards and advisory committees, including the Alaska Chamber, Alaska Resource Education, Alaska Communications, and UAF’s College of Business and Security Management. She is passionate about supporting youth programs and is excited to contribute her expertise to the Stingray Swim Team.
Kayla Oeth - Treasurer
Jennifer McMillan - Secretary
Jennifer began swimming at Patty Pool in Fairbanks at age 6 and has loved the sport ever since. A volunteer coach and new board member, she joined the Stingray Swim Team with her two children in 2020. Jennifer enjoys helping swimmers grow in a fun, supportive environment. She also loves ocean swimming, outdoor adventures, and time with her kids, dogs, and chickens.
Kylie Gore-Hall - Member at Large
Kylie Gore-Hall is the mother of a longtime Stingray swimmer. As a parent active in the competitive swimming world, Kylie is excited to bring her experience to the SST board. Professionally, Kylie is a licensed psychologist, licensed professional counselor, and owner of Continuing Hope Counseling. Recognizing the importance of both physical and mental wellness, Kylie is passionate about supporting youth athletes in and out of the pool. When not working or attending swim meets, she and her family enjoy traveling.
Scott Rupp - Member at Large
Scott Rupp is the father of two Stingrays and is serving in his second term as President. Scott is a UAF faculty member and has proudly called Fairbanks home since 1993. When not spending his time on deck, in the stands, or behind the scenes, he enjoys adventuring outdoors with his family and friends.
