Week of March 4, 2024

Hello Stingrays, and welcome to a new week. Here is what this week looks like for SST:                                                                                            

  • Congratulations to our swimmers in the St. Patrick’s Day Meet (North Pole) and Region XII Championships (Oregon) over the weekend. Results will be posted HERE when available.
  • Gold practice on Fridays is now 5:30-6:45p. The full schedule is HERE.
  • There is regular practice during spring break next week.
  • The Northern Area Conference Championship is April 5-7 at Hamme Pool. This is open and encouraged for all Stingray swimmers! We have won the conference title consecutively since 2017, and we will need all hands on deck to keep the streak alive. More info and sign ups can be found HERE.
  • UAF will be closing Patty Pool for an extended period this summer for maintenance.
    • Patty Pool is normally closed from early May through mid-June for annual maintenance. This year, they need to do more extensive work which will require a closure of May 6 – July 16. We are exploring options for pool time at other locations, and we will relay more information as soon as possible.
