2026 Alaska Summer Championships July 25th-27th, 2025 Congratulations to our 17 Seward Tsunami Swimmers that made qualifying time cuts for this event! We are super proud of you! This fun summer meet is held in Long Course Meters (LCM) just like the pool used for the Olympics. (Most of the meets that we attend are held in short course yards (SCY) in a 25 yard pool like the Seward High School Pool.) The Bartlett Pool in Anchorage is Alaska’s only long course pool. 2025 Shorebird Invitational Swim Meet - Homer, Alaska May 9th and 10th This is a great meet for ALL Tsunamis! Wrapping up our regular season with the Shorebird Meet is a team tradition. Swimmers earn money for our team by swimming lengths of the pool. Swimmers have a two-hour period to swim a maximum of 200 lengths (5,000 yards). Swim-a-thon is our largest annual fundraiser! SwimAThon will take place on this early release day before Spring Break. After the swim we will celebrate our swimmers with a pizza party for all of the swimmers and families.
