Program

Peters Township Swim Club (PTSC) is a developmental and competitive swimming program that is operated by a volunteer board of directors, parent-members, and USA swimming-certified coaches. PTSC is a member of Allegheny Mountain Swimming (AMS), which is one of numerous local swim committees (LSC) throughout the country that are part of USA Swimming, the national governing body for the sport of swimming. 

Goals

The goals of PTSC are to enable all children eligible for membership to engage in a wholesome and lifesaving sport; to promote physical fitness and encourage proper conditioning and healthy habits; to provide opportunities for social, emotional, and educational development; and to encourage peer and family participation in the sport. PTSC strives to enrich the lives of young athletes by fostering teamwork, individual achievement, and respect for others and is committed to creating positive and motivating experiences for swimmers, coaches, and families. PTSC’s professional coaches are dedicated to developing athletes’ self-confidence, sportsmanship, and dedication through a challenging and engaging training program.

Organization

PTSC is a Pennsylvania nonprofit corporation that is exempt from federal income tax as a Section 501(c)(3) organization. The purpose of PTSC is to provide swim education, instruction, and training, as well as opportunities to compete in organized swimming competitions.
