Festivals Day Two - Halftime

Toronto - BYST already equalled their medal haul from Saturday! The boys relay team, consisting of Ryan Jarvis, Rafik Jiwa, Alexander Grant and Isaac Jarvis, grabbed the gold in the 4 x 100m freestyle relay, clocking in at 4:16.58. The team is currently sitting in 11th spot (tied with Newmarket).

Alexander Grant and Rafik Jiwa brought home the gold and silver in the 200m butterfly, with times of 2:38.15 and 2:38.28, respectively. Jiwa also swam the 200m IM and placed 8th, clocking in at 2:41.08. Katelyn Cairns took the bronze in the 200m butterfly with a time of 2:40.95 and placed 5th in the 200m IM posting a time of 2:41.36. Melissa Dingle raced the 100m freestyle, placing 8th with a time of 1:04.65 and the 200m butterfly, finishing 14th with a time of 2:54.66.

With one session to go, BYST hopes to get the medal count up to double digits and try to crack the top ten for overall team standings.
