Advanced (ADV):  (8-12 Athletes Maximum)

9 Hours in the Pool / 1 Hour of Dry-Land

This is a group designed for the top younger swimmers in the club and teenagers who aren’t yet at the Senior level. Everyone must be willing to work towards achieving Regional and Festival times. It is expected that these swimmers stay focused and complete any task set by the coach. This group is the main stepping-stone into the Senior program. All skills must be performed on a consistent basis. Swimmers are encouraged to have an attendance percentage over 70% and should be attending at least one weekday morning practice, but preferably both. All athletes must have their own kick board, pull buoy, fins and paddles. Every athlete must attend at least 7 swim meets, including a minimum of 4 out of town meets.

 

Monday:

     -         4:15-6pm 

Tuesday:

-         5:20-7am

Wednesday:

-         4:15-5:30pm 

Thursday:

-         5:20-7am

Friday:

-         4:15-6pm 

Saturday:

-         6:50-9am

-         9:10-10am (Dry-Land with Ascension Movement:  Strength/Power Training)

 

 

Entry Requirements:

  • 200 IM Sub 3:30
  • 400 Free Sub 6:00
  • Must have raced ALL 200m Events and 400m Free
  • 10 x 50 on :50 (Hold Under :45)
