SCAR Winter Classic
What a terrific weekend at the SCAR Winter Classic! So much fun and plenty of fast swimming. Everyone had a great time racing long course for the first time this season.
The Beast had many new Regional qualifiers and plenty of incredible performances. Shout out to Emily for breaking two 11-12 female long course team records in the 50m and 200m breaststroke at 38.36 and 3:02.28. She collected 3 gold and 1 silver and 1 bronze medal this weekend.
Francis broke the 15 & over long course team records in the 100m freestyle at 54.89 and the 200m backstroke at 2:12.78. He won 3 gold medals. Jayden finished with a silver medal in the 16 & over female 200m breaststroke and got bronze in the 100m breaststroke.
Caelen grabbed the silver in the 15 year old male 100m breaststroke. Alivia took silver in the 13 year old female 100m butterfly and bronze in the 200m butterfly. Logan earned the silver in the 16 & over male 50m freestyle. Alex picked up bronze in the 12 year old female 100m breaststroke.
Ben swam to bronze in the 10 & under male 50m butterfly. Lauren M. received bronze in the 14 year old female 200m butterfly. Norah finished with the bronze in the 11 year old female 100m butterfly.
