On October 26th, CAJ hosted their first meet of the year. The athletes swam fast at home, knocking down 100's of personal bests. A special shout out to the Novice swimmers who participated in their first swim meet of the year and some for participating in their first meet ever! Your coaches are extremely proud of your accomplishments so far this season. A big thank you to all of our volunteers - your swimmer could not do it with out you.

This past weekend, the Novice 2's and 3's took on the University of Guelph Pool and swam fast at their first away meet of the year. With many personal bests being broken, it was hard to keep track of all the improvements in the pool! Congratulations to Wesley Brown for qualifiying for short course Western Regionals in February in the 50 freestyle and achieving 3 1st place finishes. Special shoutouts to all of our other top ten finishers: Caitilin Brown (1st, 2 3rd), Norah Cocking (2 1st, 2nd), Bonds De lulis (8th), Elsie Emary (2nd), Bronson Foster (3rd, 4th, 5th), Adrianna Huizingh (2 1st, 5th), Hanna Kharlova (1st, 3rd, 4th), Alee Rush (1st, 5th), Chiara (2nd, 3rd, 6th), Skyelar (10th), Danny Vasic (3rd, 7th), Ben Watkins (2nd, 3rd, 6th), Rachel Wu (7th, 8th).
