This weekend, Inconnu is heading to Grande Prairie for the Northern Lights Invitational. This meet will see around 500 swimmers compete, including our 15 young swimmers. All of our swimmers attending this weekend are 13 and younger. "This meet is a great opportunity for our young swimmers to qualify for Tier 1 Provincials that will be held in Victoria, B.C. at the end of June," Coach Norah Vogan said. The Speedo Western Canadian Championships brings together a great mix of Canada’s senior, youth and junior swimmers from across Western Canada. Alexandria Hedges, Eric Louie, and Griffiin Ternier-Smith swam in the 4-day event at the Kinsmen Centre in Edmonton, from April 11 to 14. The competition was fierce with many of Canada's top swimmers coming from Canadian Trials last weekend. This is a fast meet with record-breaking swims. Griffin Ternier-Smith, Eric Louie, and Alexandria Hedges will be competing in the 4-day swim meet. Griffin kicks off the swim meet this Thursday, April 11, with his 200 freestyle.
