This past weekend saw four Inconnu swimmers head down south to compete in the BC Winter Provincial Championships with Owen Lang, Alex McDonald, Ryder Modde, and Nate Rogers representing the team. The meet was held at the Saanich Commonwealth Pool in Victoria with Short Course Prelims and Long Course Finals. BC Provincial Championships is one of the premier swim meets hosted in the province with swimmers needing to qualify in previous meets by swimming under tough time standards in order to race in each event. The meet provided the competitors a chance to race with some of the best swimmers our regions have to offer. This past weekend, Feb 4-6th, Owen Lang and Alex McDonald made the trip down to Edmonton to compete in one of the Alberta Provincial Series Meets. Swimmers from across Canada came to compete, including teams from Manitoba and Quebec, who brought Jr. and Sr. National Team members with them. For Owen and Alex this meet was about continuing to gain long course experience while racing some events that they may not typically enter. Winterfest Meet Report Hello all, This past weekend 28 swimmers made the cross-border trek to take on the Grande Prairie Piranhas in a one day dual meet. This past weekend, June 21 to 23, 11-year-old Nate Rogers represented the Inconnu swim club in Chilliwack BC at the 2019 Summer Age Group Championships. Thirteen Inconnu swimmers were in Kamloops, BC for the TRU Wolfpack Invitational swim meet last  weekend, June 6 to 9. This swim meet had morning and evening sessions, where the top 7-14 swimmers from the morning races compete again. The Fort St. John Inconnu swimmers were in Grande Prairie May 3 to 5 for the Northern Lights  Invitational.
